Employee Spotlight

Corey Wagner

Installation Supervisor

Explain what you do for the company.

My main responsibility is to manage the overall efficiency and operations of the installation department and to collaborate with the sales teams on proper design and job site logistics.

What do you love about your job?

I love the challenges that the industry brings on the day-to-day. I love watching our teams meet those challenges and watching them grow, learn, and acquire skill sets in the field.

What do you like to do for fun when you are not at work?

I spend a lot of time with my family. We listen to music, we fish, we watch sports, go to the beach, and just typically do what we can to enjoy life.

What is one thing you’ve learned/how have you grown as a result of working here?

I think the biggest thing that I’ve learned is greater efficiency in managing people. Positions that I’ve held before this have not had the large number of people that we have. So, just watching them grow and learning that navigating through personalities is a large part of what a manager does and just learning to help them and setting them up for success.

How did you come to work for MY Shower Door?

Well, I’ve been in the industry for 20 years and we were overseas for a while and then out in California, so we relocated to be close to our kids. I worked for a small competing shower door company here locally when an opportunity arose to work for MY Shower Door and I took it.
