Beta Gamma Sigma Names Honorary Member for 2022
Bill Daubmann, president of MY Shower Door/ D3 Glass, was named as an Honorary Member of the LCOB chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma for 2022.
Each year, the LCOB chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma selects a chapter honoree. Accordingly, this person is someone who has achieved distinction in business, and who possesses those qualities that Beta Gamma Sigma fosters. Our chapter honorees have demonstrated exceptional service to the Lutgert College of Business and its students.
Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS) is an international honor society recognizing the outstanding academic achievements of students enrolled in collegiate business and management programs accredited by AACSB International. Invitation for membership is sent out in the Spring.
BGS is the official Honor Society for the Lugert College of Business at Florida Gulf Coast University.
Due in part to our commitment to the community, MY Shower Door / D3 Glass was the chosen company for Professor Daniel Rottig to highlight with his International Business students this past year. Additionally, My Shower Door has hired an intern from Professor Daniel Rottig’s class, who has already worked 90 hours of his internship.
Furthermore, only the top 5 percent of business programs worldwide are privileged to host a chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma, and only the top 10 percent of juniors and seniors and top 20 percent of Master’s candidates are invited to join each year. Additionally, Beta Gamma Sigma membership signals excellence to colleagues and potential employers and marks a person as one of the top students at the Lutgert College of Business.
The mission of the BGS is to encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business, to foster personal and professional excellence, to advance the values of society, and to serve its lifelong members.
The Beta Gamma Sigma Induction Ceremony will be held at 3 pm on Friday, April 29th, 2022 at Sugden Resort & Hospitality Management, Banquet Room, SRHM 111. Guests are welcome.
