Inc. Magazine released its annual Inc. 5000 List this week, and it included several glazing-industry companies. Dubbed “an exclusive guide to America’s top private companies” the list identifies those deemed the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S.
With data for this year’s list spanning the COVID-19 pandemic, “The 2021 Inc. 5000 list feels like one of the most important rosters of companies ever compiled,” says Scott Omelianuk, the publication’s editor-in-chief. “Building one of the fastest-growing companies in America in any year is a remarkable achievement. Building one in the crisis we’ve lived through is just plain amazing.”
Despite the circumstances, companies making the 2021 list posted median growth of 167%, generating a combined $248 billion in revenue.
“We are incredibly proud to be recognized in this select group of companies across the country,” says Kevin Roth, CEO and founder of Privacy Glass Solutions. “Our growth is a direct result of building a team of professionals who uphold the value of providing high quality, innovative products, solutions, and the ultimate in customer care.”
“For the sixth time in seven years, MY Shower Door was recognized among Inc. magazine’s Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing and most successful independent businesses in the country,” according to a press release from the company. “We are dedicated to creating beautiful glass enclosures and showers that turn bathrooms into elegant spas, and we’re honored that our success continues to be recognized,” says MY Shower Door/D3 Glass co-owner Bill Daubmann.
Neighborly, parent company to Glass Doctor, also found a spot on the list at 4,345. “It is an incredible honor for Neighborly to be included once again alongside so many other admired organizations in the annual Inc. 5000,” says Mike Bidwell, president and CEO of Neighborly. “Neighborly — like so many other companies — has overcome a variety of challenges within the last year, all while continuing to provide excellent customer experiences to homeowners in need of home services.”
